The facilitator’s/teacher’s work is not limited to providing learning opportunities for the students. It also includes providing opportunities for reflection on the learning journey and its evaluation. The evaluation of the seminar/ or a course can take various forms ranging from sociometrics all the way to the written questionnaire. Evaluation is supposed to target the learning objective, which were defined by the facilitator/teacher prior to the delivery of the seminar/course.

Evaluation

Evaluation aims at measuring the effectiveness and the impact of the educational program we have offered. At the same time it helps identify the strengths and shortcomings of the program for the purpose of further developing it. This section of Competendo lists methods and specific tools for the evaluation of courses, seminars or sessions.

Validation and Identification of Learning Outcome

Identification and validation of the learning outcome pieces into a single collage all the knowledge, skills and competencies acquired by the participants throughout the course.

Documentation in Trainings

The reporting of a well-documented seminar is as easy as pie. Once you have all the learning aims, topics and methods noted down the reporting becomes a matter of incorporating your and participants' observations, feedback and recommendations into the existing document. Also, the more relevant details and insights that you have in the training documentation, the easier it becomes for you to share your experience with the new facilitators that might join your team.
