| | + | Five organizations active in citizenship education from four European countries created Competendo in 2015. They were motivated by their own facilitation practices, inspired by the approaches of [https://theodor-heuss-kolleg.de Theodor-Heuss-Kolleg], a program of Robert Bosch Stiftung and saw their need to structure their own experiences and share it with the public. MitOst (coordinator, DE), Ideas Factory (BG), SKORO (PL), Südwind (AT) and Working Between Cultures (DE) built the online platform between 2015 and 2018 in cooperation with facilitators, educators, and experts from around Europe. Since 2019, DARE - Democracy and Human Rights Education in Europe - coordinates Competendo. |
